Guess I got that with my last post - bad assumption on my part that you'd made another tack.
Well it doesn't look like an anchorage there - I'd have thought the same...

Pictures or it didn't happen.
My phone shuts down when I try to take photos. It's really annoying....

I've been taking videos with my GoPro which I bought in the Azores because my phone is so bad... But I haven't figured out how to pull images out of those videos, but I'm working on that...

But you are most welcome to come aboard and take all the photos you'd like...

Dave, you've lost weight. Now I'm concerned about the rationing regiment you have implemented aboard.

You have enough energy to sail home? Maybe you need to spend a little more time in the islands to recuperate.

One of the fun things I’m discovering is the languages. The travelers and the locals all speak several different ones. St Lucia owned by the British, French, and Native indigenous people speak primarily English, a Caribbean Creole (French roots), and Spanish. Sometimes it sounds like all three in conversation.

Martinique, being a French Single Territorial Collective, French is predominantly spoken. Trying to order a meal while with a limited memory of high school French class is challenging. Fortunately Tourism embraces the use of English, with menus using the English words beneath the French. Last night we had a delicious dinner, a glass of wine, and cheese plate for dessert. Trying to ask the server to split the bill on two credit cards was a comedy of English, sign language, pidgin HS French, and a little Spanish, drew confused looks from the server. She did a great job helping us.

They moved up the bay yesterday to a new anchorage on the western side, and are about a 15-minute row to the dinghy dock in the marina in Le Marin:

The anchorage is pretty full but we found a hole we could drop anchor in. We tried about three different spots before this one - got in some anchor set and retrieve practice - before we landed on this spot. Then yesterday we adjusted some as we were way to close to one on the boats near us. Looks like we are in a solid spot now.

I find it pretty amazing how well you can track the boats position ..
