Celebrating the new year. On the beach in St Lucia, with the locals.
I can identify with that! Hoping you are completely refreshed and ready to go now. After a 27 hour travel day (arrived)1:30pm Island time Sunday, a couple of beers, dinner, and then 10.5 hours awaiting the fireworks on the beach, at 0040 in the new year I was dragging. The crew were ready to Party hardy. I chose to walk the 25 minutes back to the boat and crashed.
I have to say I was impressed! I had suggested he stay at the boat and sleep to recover. But hey, it was New Year's in the islands maan...Let me rephrase. The crew of Musetta was celebrating.
I started Saturday about 0600 as usual. Started my travel day. Finished packing gear for 30 days. This is where Dave [aka Ernest Hemingway] and @jssailem [aka Mr Mummy ] are headed.Better yet is where Bogart falls in love with Bacall. On this island
Here's what that looks like:Per John , they just did 2nd Tack, 23 miles to go ! More tacks to come.
Guess I got that with my last post - bad assumption on my part that you'd made another tack.We got anchored as the light of the day left so we'll hang on the boat until daybreak
