Isn't 120 degrees the temperature of super heated steam? it must be really hot down there!Just remember us folks up north when it is 120 degrees in the shade down there and 70 degrees up in the great white north.
Yes, it is. But for those of us who are too stubborn and lazy to learn the metric system 49 degrees seem rather chilly.Isn't 120 degrees the temperature of super heated steam? it must be really hot down there!
Oh well, I wish I could have Fahrenheit degrees with Centigrade temperatures, its getting warmer here in Quebec but still no sailing !! 32F = 0C ! I just spent a fortune on new equipment for Egret in preparation for the summer months... a four page to do list and only four months to do it! I really need to move to southern Fahrenheit latitudesYes, it is. But for those of us who are too stubborn and lazy to learn the metric system 49 degrees seem rather chilly.
120 F = 49 C
I like the zucchini idea better.since you asked a serious question.. its there to store zucchini. You cant have enough places for zucchini storage on these boats..
(its a brace, I added an extra step)
I picked up what is most likely the same product from Home Depot today for the Mac. 26" wide and sold by the foot. rubber backed etc. I'd like some other color, but the dark gray isn't bad at all. fairly thin, soft on the tootsies, cuts easily without fraying with large scissors, and doesn't slide around at all. when it gets full of sand you can just shake it out or hose it off. highly recommend. $2.27 ft.I spent about thirty bucks at Lowes and bought the grey commercial grade carpet runner( they have bulk rolls). It looks great, it is rated for outdoor use and is just wide enough to cut the cockpit floor and the inside of the cabin from one piece including under the table. It has rubber non slip backing and stays put. I will try to find or take some pics this weekend. Hope my two cents worth helps you out, happy sailing!! DAVE
Am I hearing a bit of the "OMG what did I get myself into" syndrome?I sat in Mistress today. That's it. I just sat there; looking at the tools, the cushions piled in the aft berth, the mess of an electrical system that is steadily being replaced, and thought....that little incandescent light in the galley needs to be switched to an LED........

Gorgeous!! I live the remote anchorage!!I like the odd places you can sneak into with trailerable boats.. some pictures from a couple days ago. In the second picture, pooch finds some really nasty stinky stuff to roll in during a potty break.
