As to the motor... runs. And moves and steers! As she should!. All i have to do is replace the jabsco impeller. Witch he had already bought!

Our 3 cylinder Kubota diesel in our genset gave us 18,000 hours of good service, so take care of yours and she should last a long while. If your impeller is difficult to access carry a spare sea water pump, and instead of changing impellers, just change out the pump and replace the impeller at your leisure. Could save your boat one day. We had to do that this week and even had to have the old impeller professionally removed as we just couldn't get it (first time ever).

I thought about that. Because mine is a pain! I got 5 screws out but the head of #6 is shot so I have to get vise grips on it. So I'll be replacing all or them just to be safe.

I have power! Water pump. Interior lights. Bilge. All work. But no exterior light so I'll have to work on those asap. If I can finish the jabsco tomorrow I may take it to a friends yard and tie up so I can pressure wash all the bird crap off. Then she should smell better

I contacted the builders of the boat. Sent him pic of the damage. He says the mast is easily repairable. It broke along where it was welded before as it was a 2 piece. He plans to help my step by step to get it properly done

lol sounds like it'll break in the same spot next time too so you can get good practice with this repair

So let's see here....2 extra anchors. Extra anchor chain and rope. Full set of new sails. Old sails. BBQ. All new set of windlass. Extra dock lines. Bumpers. Live jackets. Sleeping bag. Sail covers.

I mean my god. I'm a prepped by nature but even I say to much. 2 full sets of sails. Full set extra windlasses. 2 extra anchors with ever thing. Extra autopilot ram. Extra wheel for steering. Hell I'm just Waiting to find the extra mast!..

All this shit but no freeking inverter. Anybody wanna trade one for anything? I have spares lol

As an experienced boat owner my advice to any new boat owner has been "the best that you can hope for, is that you get what you paid for...". In this case, there seems little hope at all...
