Okaaay . . . This is embarrassing.
I would say many of us are familiar with Blue Sea's battery terminal fuse holder. It appears that when I installed the fuse, I managed to put the big washer below the fuse rather than above the fuse.
Jeff, while here doing oil and filters, took all of five minutes to diagnose and remedy the problem. Life is now good.
Thanks to all for the advice, but I don't think any for the life of all of us, would guessed this one. I do now, because of your advice, new options and ways of tracking electrical gremlins. Again, thanks
