It was a late start for us this season with helping both kids launch their own sailboats. But it all gets done, wind fills the sails, and you're off.

A quiet morning in Stonington CT

Sweltering on the coast of maine. This was in Northeast harbor yesterday, air temps in the 80s with the cruel joke that the water was 60. There was relief in the cool fog blown in from the North Atlantic

Now up Somes Sound where the water is a refreshing 72F. Great because today may set more heat records.

Meanwhile in central Texas, we're having days in the high 90's and low 100's and the last rain I had was on July 9th when I received 0.08" It's so dry here that the bugs are looking for water.


Notice all the dry plants in the background. They will turn green if we get any rain at all.
