After seeing a couple of my favorite things in other photos in this thread, I had to share one that I took last December.
I finished installing my new GN Espace Levante 2 stove yesterday and made some tea. It's a bit more narrow than the old Force 10 unit so I just centered it in the space making it much easier to reach in and clean the sides. Looking forward to trying it out for some more serious cooking next week.
Yep...baking bread is on the list for the next week or two.
We took a cruise to Norway this past summer, and I found a new idea for repurposing old boat parts.

Yes I can imagine the anxiousness that would creep into my everyday wonder.
Only negative, as soon as it splashes it is going to get dirty…. Like driving a new car off the lot and hitting a mud puddle…

Yeah...I know, this looks similar to other photos I've posted recently, but I was actually sitting two lawn chairs to the left for this one.
We've had some interesting weather lately with a few storm fronts moving through and temperatures dropping to the mid 60s at night. I've seen more puffy jackets and hats on the North Shore of Oahu in the last few days than I typically see during the entire month of January in Boulder, CO.

We had really big rains here in Charleston starting Friday night and then all day Saturday. At high tide our marina piers were 13” from floating off their pylons .
This was higher than the last two hurricanes. The water flooded the gazebo.
And here is what high tide normally looks like… notice the difference in the pylon height above the pier

It has been raining a lot here in NH. Rivers have flooded, roads have been closed. There was a nearby mud slide. I, however, was in Nashville and Pigeon Forge during all this, where it was freezing while NH was 40°f. Weird.
