Rust Spot on keel

On my '87 H23, a rust spot has developed on my wing keel. All else appears good & sound, but the spot is about 5"
I need to not only treat it, but ensure there's no other spots developing. Grinding down and filling in before sealing it up again, is in order.
But who else has encountered and handled this dilemma?

Here's my thread from about a month ago on what I did with mine on my Beneteau First 235. Mine was probably in worse shape than yours as it was more widespread but, you can use some of the info I think.

As a hunter dealer who sold the 23 wing keel, I use to grind the rust spot clean, apply a metal primer containing zinc chromate, fill in with a two part epoxy filler sanded smooth after drying, apply 3-4 coats of barrier coat and finally anti fouling paint
