I sent a PM but basically I used the Catalina Direct boom blocks. I have a video that shows me putting in a reef single handed in 57 seconds. It was kind of slow because the first tow takes, the cameraman screwed up the shot. I'm inclined to agree with your contention.
Sounds like your tank indicator is the SeaLand TankWatch I...which only meets the legal requirement that it must be possible to know when the tank is 3/4 full--about 2-3 flushes in most tanks. Check out the Profile system: Profile Tank Monitors The single tank "Solo" version is all you need if you only want to monitor one tank. They make one that can monitor up to 8 tanks--fuel, water AND waste.
