More photos would be great! Do you have permission from the owner to post the pictures online? You are welcome to send them to me. I am uploading my pictures and video from this weekend, but it looks like its going to take a while.

Hey guys, quick question. Do you prefer the video format, or just pictures? I am getting ready for my trip this weekend, and planning to re-seal windows and install the new starboard bulkhead.

Here are some "reference" photos that Captnmac found. Captnmac, would you mind posting where you found these so we give them credit?

I got my new bulkhead in and was able to tension the rigging a little. When I sight down the deck the lower shrouds are pulling a little bit of bulge in the deck. Maybe an 1/8" or so? Is that normal at this age?

Here are the pictures from this weekend. Heater mounted, pictures of the poor sealing job previously done on the windows, windows re-installed, new (unfinished) bulkhead, removal of the head sink, sealing of the chain plates...

You mentioned shimming the solar panel... Take care not to create stress point where you crack the panel from below. Might be better to let it flex a little?

I had thought I would put a piece of pipe insulation all along the cross piece to fill the space, but now I think I will just get longer angle braces. Good point though. It would be a bummer to crack it.

This last weekend my dad came and helped me. We had lots of fun and were busy so I forgot to take any new video or pictures. I tested out the heater, and it is awesome! We pulled wire for the mast lights, wired up the batteries and a charger and installed a bilge pump system. Still deciding what the plan will be this weekend with mothers day and my wife's birthday.

Ruddy from D&R Marine can get you any Oday Rudder you need. His prices are very reasonable.

Thanks for the tip IAMCCF.

This weekend was cut short due to some family sickness, but I did manage to get some stuff done. Installed the starboard toe rail and jib track, installed a new VHF and wired my solar panel controller to charge my batteries. All in all I am pretty happy :)

Went over and hung out with my dad a bit tonight. The result was a glued up tiller lamination.

Its been a while since I posted, and I got a new HD video camera (Garmin Virb XE). So I'm currently trying to upload some new video. I did hang out at Dad's tonight thought and we cut, routed and rough sanded the tiller. I test fit it this weekend. The family came out to the boat for the first time, and we had a great time. Mostly we hung out in Portland, but they were happy to see my project and we got a little done on the boat.
