Thanks to you all, again and again! The price I paid for the boat was $1300 on ebay with no fees or add on. I put my max bid at $3700. So I do think there is still a great value there. What can't be valued or measured is how unique the boat is. Only 24 ever built, a big 30 footer, 6'3" cabin height, I'm 6'4". 10.3 beam, wide enough to not feel so cramped inside, includes most items I had on my wish list: 30-38 foot, around 4 foot or less draft, wider than 9 ft beam, anchor windlass, dinghy davits, auto pilot, chart plotter, wheel steering (for my girlfriend mostly), min amount of exterior wood (well not too much), and make my heart flutter and my eyes smile! Thought I was going to loose her! Thanks again for all your comments and advice. I have previously looked at quite a few boats that just don't do it for me, Pearson Triton 28-too small, Alberg 30-too small, but mostly look alike! Most all production boats look alike to me. Little diff here and there, but? My attention has always been caught by oddities like Compact 16, or the Freedom catboats, even the Westerlies Centaur's and the like. Different, workman like boats. So, you might can see my attraction to the rare Legnos Mystic 30. In the pics someone pointed out the bow looks like a blue whale! After that comment I see it too. I just want to wrap my arm around the bow and give it a hug!
