Hunter 42 Passage Rudder removal

I also have to remove the rudder to correct delamination problem on my Passage 42. I read all you said, but what / where are the "pin" or "screw" that hold the rudder ? We've seen two, one that is connect to the helm (thru cables) and one to the autopilot. Yet, I would expect to be able to see one that really hold the rudder in place. WHERE IS IT ???

If you look in the hole that your Emergency Tiller [ET] goes in, you will see the bolt that holds the rudder in place.

The ET fits over that bolt.

From your pictures, I would guess it is the top Bolt on the Steering Quadrant in Pict #2

PS: Bolt is either 1/2 or 3/8"
