Richard19068, the cell phone thing really hurts, but it sounds like you're in good company; but the PORK ROAST?? Come on man! Haha
I was more bummed hearing that someone lost a full bottle of JW Black.Richard19068, the cell phone thing really hurts, but it sounds like you're in good company; but the PORK ROAST?? Come on man! Haha
They recovered Shackleton's scotch. Get after it!Most notable was an unopened 750ml bottle of Johnny walker black. Very sad day
The only thing I EVER lose overboard are iPhones. Two at last count. Or is it three?2 pairs of sun glasses, a boat hook, and a Spyderco rescue knife. @Jackdaw I think your tally is a wee bit more costly?
Oh, I forgot. My sister in law dropped her $3,000 diamond and emerald ring in the cockpit and it went down a scupper while on a mooring in about 25 feet at Cherry Cove Catalina. I free dove for that thing for an hour and gave up. Fortunately the ring was a gift from an ex-husband and it was insured!Too numerous to remember them all. Sun glasses, winch handle, a 4 pound pork roast that was almost done but worst of all the wife's iphone with two weeks of unbacked up vacation photos 45 minutes after crossing the Malibu rapids into Princess Louisa Inlet last year. You should have seen the look on her face. I thought someone had died.
Sounds like the perfect crime.Oh, I forgot.
