Shop ended up in garage attic, what a pita that is!

Sound like your garage is too small.
A garage attic is for a pool table and beer fridge.

You need a single "garage" for each vehicle, plus 1 for a shop and one for a paint booth. If you do woodworking you need another room across the back.

People get confused with square foptage for housing.
Everyone needs 1,500 sq ft to live in and at least 3,000 for shop/garage.
For some reason people often want the opposite. My wife is fortunately in my camp.
My next house will gave a much bigger shop.

Wow, I was way off. I thought he was smaller and with those little ears and fine nose. Beautiful horse.
Our walkers were kind of the opposite, ears like mules, heavy faces, but boy, did they have a nice ride. No trot, they did a running walk that was so smooth. They were tall too, 16-3 and 17.

I can't blame mine directly for the death of my Hobie, but there may be a correlation. Although, if it hadn't been horses, it probably would have been something else. Having kids more directly contributed, both in the neglect and in its final destruction. "Um, Papa, about your boat on that trailer out back. You know it IS sorta like a trampoline..."

We will see how that works out. It has been difficult to wean my daughter from the family phone lines. She just gets such a deal on our package. I did manage to get her to buy her own phone. Boy was that pulling teeth.

I'm just thankful the grandkids do not have phones.

You are not alone Stu. My skiing buddy from Marin CA has never had a phone in his life. When we ski, I'm his personal secretary with his office, wife and clients all knowing to call Arnie, not Ken. I went to HS with Ken and have been skiing with him for 40+ years. No phone has not kept him from being the 0.1%. He controls who he talks to. Not a bad concept.

Not a bad concept for him he has others to provide for him.

Skiing, I would not want to be interrupted. Playing golf I would not want a phone intrusion. I have had them. Not any more.
