Neat boat, this looks like one of the original Willard built Lancer 30s. You can tell from the swept back keel that is similar to the C&C Mk I...

Das sind Teakleisten, die aufgeklebt, dann mit Schwarzer Masse ausgegossen und geschliffen wurden. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu.....

Routing the wind transducer wire... I used micro C through deck connectors, and spliced the simnet cables.. we'll see if it worked. The wiring inside a simnet cable is identical to NMEA 2000, the connectors are just different.. I just needed a solution to allow me to disconnect the transducer for trailering.

Huge repair job done years ago, and gelcoat was all mismatched, and down to gray undercoat in places. My attempt was to gelcoat over it this was the masking portion, after sanding.

Spreaders welded... note, the spreaders are "sealed" on the S2, if you leave the mast on the boat horizontal for the winter, rainwater drains down from the mast side into the spreaders, then freeze/thaw cycles bust the seams of the spreaders... best to drill a weep hole near the end (done later in this project after painting)>

Crib boards in place.. Needless to say I sanded them down, and varnished (5 coats) to fix them up. They are real teak veneer plywood. I will eventually be building 1" thick starboard 2 piece crib boards. It'll be easier.

This is the ugly side of the wiring... note the size of the VHF, that has built in GPS for DSC... neat little VHF... also the black thing hung on the bottom of the starboard is velcroed on remote control for the stereo. One can then grab it, adjust the stereo, and stick it back while on the fly then.

How about that, triducer (speed, temp, depth) fit perfectly in the existing through hull.. I had 2 from "Standard Horizon" of transducers... I left the Depth one in place for a later day, which I MAY actually remove and install another triducer for a backup to swap out in case one gives me grief (beats fiberglassing up another hole).
