Guest’s question to captain, while pointing to a light structure built on top of a boulder reef - “How do they bring all those boulders out there to build that foundation?”

Your predator is confined to the water.
Out here in Oregon, the predator will chase you out of the water, take you down as you run screaming up the beach... Then drag you behind a sand dune and leave you to ripen a bit before feasting.
Cougar Sighting,
A cougar this week was spotted climbing on Oregon’s Haystack Rock near Canon Beach OR. It caused the beach to be vacated and the town to be on high alert.
The cougar swam around, then left the area.

… so i saw this photo on the wall in a marina mens‘ room. Aside from the dated 1960-ish look it appears to me that this power boat is about to do a high speed pass near a diver-down flagged buoy, and about to throw a big wake for a sailboater that’s drifting in light air.
