This is the end of our breakwater two days ago. Seems that spring will never come this year :-(
And your degree in climatology is from where?I predict that by the end of August, we will be reading articles that tell us "scientists are reporting that 2018 is on track globally to be the warmest year in recorded history". We'll have a few 95 degree days in a row and the articles will start slipping out. The narrative has already been established. The year that nearly 100% of the Great Lakes was entirely frozen over (wasn't that about 4 years ago?) was supposedly the warmest year in recorded history. I was watching "Deadliest Catch" recently and, though I wasn't really paying attention, I thought I heard them say that every year the ice had been encroaching more and more into their territory as their seasons close.I'm not sure how that fits the narrative of 99% of "scientists".
Scott I'm with you on this. I do not remember any spring being as cold and damp as it has been in recent years. I really miss those beautiful spring days.I predict that by the end of August, we will be reading articles that tell us "scientists are reporting that 2018 is on track globally to be the warmest year in recorded history". Looks like a beautiful spring week in the Twin Cities! The forecast this week in the Twin Cities.... yeah, not good. We still have about 28"+ of ice on the lake as well.

50+ years in the school of observation and human nature. And your degree in climatology is from where?
And today is actually cooler than yesterday even though we are one day closer to summer. That's still weather. Short term changes. Climate change is a totally different animal.Do you think that there will ever be articles that discuss something like "gee, scientists have noted that this year actually was cooler than last year"
Probably this animal. It was such a lenghty cold winter that even the LN2 beast thought itself safe to crawl out of it’s can (at work). Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Come on May.What animal would that be?Nevermind, we all know what propaganda is.
you misspelled propapanda! What animal would that be?Nevermind, we all know what propaganda is.
The problem is we don't all know what propaganda is. If people were able to recognize propaganda, the would be a much different place. What animal would that be?Nevermind, we all know what propaganda is.
I guess it started in 1870 because of all the automobile pollution.you misspelled propapanda!
In looking at the feared sea level rise due to Global Warming, a-hem, Climate Change, the trend seems to be pretty linear from the 1870s with a total of about 7 7/8"![]()

No, it was coal. Coal powered factories, coal powered heating, coal powered trains, coal powered steam ships.I guess it started in 1870 because of all the automobile pollution.
