I'm sure it could be. I happen to prefer canned tuna, sardines, red salmon of which I have a rather ample supply of on board. It also seems like a great cruiser's provision.

But at this point, we are still on fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and I just started four types of sprouts which will be ready in 3 to 5 days. We will have fresh fruit quite possibly the entire trip. Some fresh vegetables will be done in a couple more days. However we will move to winter squash dishes with fresh squash. Our tomatoes are also holding up pretty well as are our potatoes. Onions, garlic, ginger and that sort tend to last a long time.
We had fresh blueberries, milk and Muesli this morning at breakfast and will have enough blueberries for the next 2 or 3 days.
We rotate our daily menu's with our eyes on what we need to finish up. Yesterday we had two avocados that needed eating so we had guacamole - very yummy.
As time progresses, baking will begin happening...
Food on board here is kind of a priority....
