Our glasses arrived on Monday, we're ready. I'm a building engineer so I will probably go up on the roof (there's another song for ya) and set up a beach chair,

BTW there's another eclipse in 2024. It goes from the southwest to the northeast. You guys in New England will get another chance.

I heard on the radio this morning; They are going to play Led Zepplin II throughout the eclipse and timing it so that "Dark Side of the Moon" will be playing during the actual event.
This appears to be a big deal everywhere. Towns along the pathway are expecting huge crowds.

News stations here in Oregon are promising the state will double in population for the weekend. Locals we panicked.

My plans are to wander over to the local winery and join 1200 new friends in a grape sacrifice. Lay back on the grass sip wine and watch the show.
