Not everybody flies their freak flag, but many sailors fly burgees and country flags.
What do you fly on your boat? A collection of carefully selected, super cool burgees? Or maybe just a country flag and your yacht club burgee? Snap a photo and show us what you fly.
While on my mooring or at a reciprocal yacht club, we fly Y.C, Staff Commodore, Yachting Association, Commodore and Port Captain (wife's), Blue Gavel, SBO, LBBOA, & Hunter. (Not all on the same side)

Finally, a shout out to the talented wife of our older son, who made this custom burgee for the wedding of our younger son and his wife. They flew it from the port spreader of their post-wedding charter boat in the BVI. The map is Virgin Gorda, site of the wedding (at BEYC, just a few months before Irma blew it away)

Two flags: US yacht ensign & club burgee. The ensign is flown only in daylight when I’m at the boat. The club burgee is up 24/7, so they don’t last more than two or three seasons.
