Hey Tex...
You are going to find a lot of differing opinions on this topic, but after exhaustive research, I found that sailors generally tend to like the system that they have installed on their vessels. That said, I went with a less expensive unit called a CDI FlexiFurler from Cruising Designs Incorporated. The one option I went for was an upgraded Torlon bearing, which eases furling/reefing considerably. So far, I absolutely love it and don't know how I sailed without it. Remember those days this summer during the heat wave? Flaking and bagging that jib as the sweat rolled down your forehead? No more, friend. It now rolls away in less than 5 seconds. Wouldn't beleive it if I didn't see it myself.I got a great package deal from nationalsail.com - roller furler and new 150 Genoa for about 1500 bucks. Good price from what I found. Riggingonly.com sells the furling unit only at a very good price as well.Best of Luck,Rob
