Thank you. I will send an email to them with an inquiry on this situation.

Thank you for the contact information.

According to them I need to bump the transmission back into alignment, get the three bolts through Yanmar, and reinstall them. He mentioned it would be a five minute job once I have the parts from the Yanmar dealer.

Now I've got to locate a Yanmar dealer near me.

Certainly sounds easy enough and I hope that's all there is to it.

If you'll read or TRY to read this extract from my Yanmar 2002 shop manual, you'll see why I didn't bother to pull the pages to send to you way back in the beginning. Maybe if I had the xmission in front of me and read the description a few thousand times over, it may have seeped in through osmosis, but I gave up early as it just did not make sense.

Thank you. I will review this.

At the moment, I'm searching for the part numbers of the three bolts as well as the shims I need. I'm not sure where to get it. My transmission is the Kanzaki KM2P with a 2.62 gear ratio.

Edit: Got the part numbers from the catalog.

Shim Set:
177088-06380

Center Bolt:
177088-06360

Collar Bolts (Need 2):
26013-080252

I guess I'll just order them up and see how they fit. Praying the threads catch and everything works out!
