Port Replacement

Am upgrading my Pearson 36-2 (love the boat!) Any advice on replacing all ports. Are drop in replacements available, has anyone switched to metal ports, aluminum or stainless!

Depending on the year... My 1986 P36-2 has Beckson windows. All sizes are still available. I just replaced all the opening ports. Did the screens and gaskets when I bought her. I am pretty sure latter years used Bomar.

The 1987 and later have Lewmar ports. I don't remember the hatch maker but I believe it is Bomar, not that it matters.

wbuckl, Lewmar still makes the alum. ports and they are avaliable from the SBO store here. If you have a 1986, check the cut out dimensions to find out if they will work. The Lewmar site has all the dimensions.
