I am awaiting my new main sail which will have a loose foot. I am also rebuilding the outhaul on the boom and have the boom in my garage right now. I want to some how route the outhaul sheet back to the cockpit so the crew/skipper can adjust easily. At present the factory design has it at the front of the boom. Has anyone tried routing the sheet off the front block on the boom down the mast, along the cabin top to a cam cleat somewhere along the edge of the cockpit? Or how about installing a thru-block on the bottom of the aft end of the boom so the sheet is available above the cockpit. This might be an easy vantage point to just reach up and adjust on the fly as needed. Thanks for your ideas and suggestions.Paul#1828
