I just got a Daysailer 2 last fall! Over the course of this year so far, I have finished completely re-rigging it and have replaced / added all the necessary hardware. The last thing to fix, is the centerboard; there's no cable to pull it up, although it has the one to swing it down.
So, after 4 weeks on back-order, the new CB cable assembly arrived! I bought it from drmarine.com (link). I just finished installing it, and re-installing the CB back into the boat. Then I hooked up the up and down cables, and put it back onto the trailer.

After finally setting everything back up (using the great diagram here: Chaplain's Oday Sailer), I tried to pull the CB up, and it goes up most of the way, but still hangs out the bottom some because the bracket hits the opening in the CB case before its up all the way. How can I fix this issue? I thought of instead placing the bracket on the top part of the CB (left in the picture above), but the down cable is in the way.
