We're wishing for the same thing. 90's and humidity have slowed us down a bit lately but that should be breaking soon.drop to mid 70s
I fully understand this. While one of the reasons we got into sailing 6 years ago was planning for a retirement hobby, after having a mini stroke in 2016 I planned for retirement by the end of 2017. Loved my job and could have kept working but my wife was retired and I didn't want to waste good health working when we could be enjoying retirement. Moving up to the C30 opened up new waters for us to sail in.Love the O'Day for what it is but really just don't have the time for projects anymore. I got hit hard a couple of weeks ago when I found out a long time co-worker and friend from my Maine / Rhode Island days died at 53. I was shocked and the worst part is she was always activity and loved the outdoors. She is the reason I got in the company I've been at for 13+ years now which has given a lot for my family. These events make you think and reflect, might be crazy and might not happen but I could very well decide to go for a new sailboat that we can have at the lake and then in 5-10 years sail away once we know the kids are good.
