Looking for details about installing a rib/stiffener to address a 356 hull "shower dimple"

Hunter 356 Monterey
New owner of a 2002 Hunter 356. Am cross-posting this from the big boats forum.

I'm in the process of replacing sanitary hoses (thanks, Headmistress!) and discovered that the space under the shower pan is filled with expanding foam. I spoke to the gentleman who owned the boat prior to the person I purchased it from and he told me that he added the foam at the advice of Hunter to address the "shower dimple" problem (see below). There was no evidence of a dimple when the boat was hauled out, but a) the foam appears to be great at absorbing head odors so I'd like to remove it, b) there are many hoses and wires under the shower pan that are bound up by the foam, and c) I'd rather address the dimple issue properly.

Poking around on this forum (356 weaknesses) there is chatter about Hunter intermittently failing to properly reinforce the hull under the shower pan in some models and that some owners have addressed this issue by cutting out the floor of the shower pan and glassing in a stiffener of some sort. Might anyone have info about the location and details of the stiffener? Pix would be amazing, but even anecdotes would be great.

Thanks in advance.
