I was looking around for some information about her. I've never seen her on the Hudson before this week, so I was wondering if it is just a visit ...

So pretty. Perhaps an optical illusion with the buildings in the background, BUT looks like a lot of mast rake? When there are three, do you need to tune the three to the same angle??

Any recreational vessel of any size is technically a yacht...to distinguish it from commercial vessels. So yes...unless engaged in any type of commercial activity, it IS a yacht (confirmed by the Wikipedia article that I read after I posted this).

i would rather change hers than mine-- her masts are thicker and base is more stable......she may not be as big as maltese but i like these lines a lot more than maltese falcon's

Coming up into the Hudson River, she must have been trying to get into 79th St Boat Basin, but, darn it, it was low tide and she drew a little too much.
