Any recreational vessel of any size is technically a yacht...to distinguish it from commercial vessels. So yes...unless engaged in any type of commercial activity, it IS a yacht (confirmed by the Wikipedia article that I read after I posted this).Three masts -- doesn't that make it a ship?

i would rather change hers than mine-- her masts are thicker and base is more stable......she may not be as big as maltese but i like these lines a lot more than maltese falcon'sI'd hate to change her anchor light bulb!
