Hung the Genoa up to dry this afternoon... People are honking their horns constantly for some reason. The admiral seems to think it's a gay pride flag.

I think you had better get a nice set of stiletto high heels and pick out a sexy shade of lipstick to wear! Thats a lot easier and cheaper than buying a new sail. Oh my, this is sweet! Chief

The colors are not arranged according to the colors of the rainbow, so, no.

You sound a bit confused, chief. Are you suggesting that dressing like a woman would somehow justify any reference to gay pride?

If so, may I politely suggest you are completely misinformed.

BTW, here's the flag:

..................... a gay pride flag at one time but looks like it ran into a brick wall and mixed up the colours. Close but no cigar.

Since someone else breached this topic here is an amusing story. I had an Ulmer Flasher on my Oday 22 back in the late seventies and early eighties. You guessed it; it was indeed arranged in the rainbow pattern exactly like the flag. Not realizing at this time it was a covert symbol I flew it with pride. Quite often arriving at the dock I was greeted by fellows of an alternative orientation. Realizing I was not advertising they would often respect my orientation. Many became good friends and one gentleman in particular had a Pearson 36 that I would regularly crew aboard. He would often invite me and a date to many of the Rochester Yacht Club events. This turned out to be a grand way to romance a young woman. In the end it didn't matter about orientation but we were sailors having fantastic times.

George,

Lots of funny replies here man, I had to laugh.

If anyone makes a gay type comment about your sail just say, "Shut up or I'll scratch your eyes out", then gently blow them a kiss & wink!!
