These guys sail out of port washington ny. If you look at the pictures on their website, they do in fact, fly that HUGE rainbow flag off their masthead when they sail!

Do sailors that dress better GAY? Doesn't everyone have a family member that plays for the other team? Who can judge who, gay or straight, isn't it all about having a great sailing partner & a DAMN FLASHY-ASS SAIL???

I used to work with a guy who said, "I used to like the color purple, until the gays took it over."
The absurdity of that statement has stuck with me since then, but I get what the guy was saying- he's totally not gay and is homophobic enough to worry about people thinking he is.
Therefore, if you think it's a gay pride flag, and that causes a problem for you, then guess what, you've got a gay pride flag. If you think it's a pretty rainbow, it's a pretty rainbow.

Some ways to tell if your "sailboat is gay" could be the following;
-Observe your sailboat while running with the "questionable" genoa. If your boat seems "uneasy" or obviously overcompensating in "manly" ways-he/she might be gay-and in denial.
-Again while running with the "questionable" genoa. Observe how your boat acts around other boats. If he/she tries to fall off the wind, intentionally runs aground or, sinks in deep water. Clear overcompensation-gay-and...in denial.
-However, if your boat, upon proudly hoisting the genoa of "question", becomes spirited and responsive to the helm, the normally disheveled cabin becomes magically squared away and, you begin singing classic show tunes and develop an enviable fashion sense...well...that's just kind of admirable.
