Interfacing B&G MFD with Raymarine X5 autopilot?

Update: I was able to get the network up and working. Ended up going with Raymarine Axiom 9+ mfd and B&G wireless wind, Airmar DST800 and connected the X5 to the N2K backbone through the STNG connection on the X5.

It all looks like it is working. I see the fluxgate compass heading connected to the X5 on the MFD and I seem to be able to steer to wind on the X5 so it does seem like it is getting wind data from the network to the X5.

The two remaining issues I haven't been able to resolve:
1. I can seem to display NMEA data from the network to the X5. It is supposed to be able to show speed, depth, BTW, DTW, wind, but that doesn't seem to be working. Strange because it does seem like it is getting the wind direction.

2. I can't seem to get the GPS data through the X5 out to the NMEA port connected to the VHF. The X5 is supposed to act as a bridge but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Welcome any thoughts but appreciate that this problem may be unique to this particular set up.
