Hunter 376 Halyard Sheaves

Anyone know where to find the specifications for the main, jib and spinnaker sheaves on the mast?

Isomat made the mast for our boat. The manufacturer knows the answer to sheave specs. RigRite has been a good site to visit for our mast questions. You will need to know who made yours as well as size. Typically, the size is based on the mast footprint, width and depth. You may find your brand there.

Thanks! I can't locate any mfg information on the mast. I checked out the rig-rite site, but could not find anything that matches with my base dimensions (9.0" x 5.4"). I've submitted a question to the Marlow Hunter website as well. I've attached a couple pics of my mast base in case anyone recognizes the manufacturer.

I could find info for the sheaves at the deck, but not for the mast head… the manual does mention ZSpar parts at the base. However, this alternate thread might put you on the right track to find the info you need though. In short, USSpar took over the ZSpar manufacturing location and sold ZSpar product under a different name. USSpar may have the info you need.

Hunter 376 Mast and B&R Standing Rigging

I trying to source a new/used Mast and Standing Rigging for 1996 Hunter 376. First I've tried contacting Hunter for the specs only to be told they can't help. They no longer have the design specs for this boat. Are they kidding??? I contacted Seldén Mast. They want me to have a dealer...

I'd suggest calling the SBO shop on Monday and asking the question. They were the supervisors of the Hunter Service Department. With the year and boat model they may be able to help.

Based on the dimensions provided, I'd guess the mast is a Z-spars Z701. According to Rigrite...

I own a 2000 Hunter 380 with a B & R rig. This was the same hull as the 376 as I recall. The mast step shown in the photo is similar to my mast step which was made by Selden. FWIW.

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like my best bet is to pull them all down and take measurements. I guess I'll rig a temporary block for the trips up and down. An SBO rep says he needs hole diameters and thickness. I was just hoping to have parts in hand before going up. Thanks again.

Your mast is definitely Z-Spars. Give their service department a call with your hull / serial number and they can look it up. I did same a couple years back they they had all the details of the spec on my rig.

Hunter used both Selden and US / Z-Spars for their later model boat.

Thanks for the ID'ing the mast. I sent an inquiry to US Spars, but no response yet. I'll try their phone in a day or two.
