
For sure it was a good sail. If you want to repair that area where it hit the spreaders, put some sticky-back on it. Its what a sailmaker would do. We use it on our racing sails from day#1 in the area where the spreader might it it as a wear patch. You can get it from sailrite.It was probably a good sail when it was new but even the PO of my boat doesn't know when that was.
I should be done with my Sailrite luff conversion on what I believe to be the OE jib in time to try it Friday evening.
I just can't decide what to do with the old genoa, tossing it isn't really an option.
