I have a question about the “center board” on a Hunter 22. When the boat is on the trailer and the board is resting on the cross piece of the frame it is “snugged” right up into the hull. However when it is in the water the aft end – or tip – of the board hangs down several inches making a V shape between it and the hull. Please see the attached illustration. (I use the term illustration loosely as I am a better photographer than a marine architect.) No matter how tight I have the haul up line the board will never come all the way up. This is really not a problem except when the boat swings on her mooring and will sometimes catch the mooring line in the V. Do any of you know if your boat does the same thing or do you have any thoughts about how I might fix this?? Thanx in advance..
