Hi All,
I have an issue that I hope I can get some advise for. I have a 1993 Hunter H 19 (19-2) and the bottom trailing edge of the keel is splitting, that is not what I am asking about (unless you feel like doing some glass work).
I am in need of some advice and directions on exactly how to remove the keel from the trunk. I think the bolts are likely located where the compression post comes down to the sole, but there is a fiberglass / plastic covering over it and wanted to know how it is attached before tearing at it with a screwdriver or something like it only to find out that there is some "trick" to remove it.. and having it crack.
I need to remove the keel, do the fiberglass repairs and probably replace any bushings and bolts if they are rusted so any guidance in this area would be helpful.
Thanks
