O'day Widgeon 12 Medford
I just got a Widgeon 12 for free from a neighbor that is missing a mast & rudder. It came with sails, a trailer, and about 10 years worth of leaves! It did come with a sail bag that includes a main and a hank-on jib (super sweet!). Based off the HIN she's a January 1977 build.

It's now at my house, cleaned out and drying. I'm super pumped to get it fixed up over the winter and ready to sail!!!! This is gonna be so rad.

I'm going to explore the site and try to answer a lot of my own questions (like, can one heave to in a boat this little? Where does one source parts? How do I best sand/polish up the exterior? etc.)

I'll also have to overhaul the trailer, but that's pretty easy stuff.

With brand new masts selling at $980 and rudders at $470 it may be a costly endeavor unless you could find used parts at a salvage yard that could be adapted for use in the Oday Widgeon 12. A parts seller is DR Marine Https://drmarine.com/product-category/oday-sailboats/oday-widegeon. If the sails, hull and trailer are good it will be a nice project to undertake. You may find good advice in this Forum, use it.
