Warpspeed is kind of stiff as I recall, but it has been a while.

For certain, strip the cover for the first ~ 11 feet (about 4 feet short of the jammer when the sail is deployed; it will become 2 feet once the cover is gone. Look up the instruction. The end of the cover is buried inside the core, like a splice. Very easy, very neat. Don't forget the lock stitches, and lock the cover to the core with a knot or pin before you start.

The cover is always on just one side. What I was suggesting is that the original genoa may have had the cover on the opposite side. Possibly.

Kind of stiff is a good description. It's a bit stiffer than Sta-set but if you try to squeeze it between your fingers, it wont really compress and deform.

"it will become 2 feet once the cover is gone." - Are you referring to the cover on the line or genoa?

I just confirmed that the line is 1/4".

I just realized the furler is slanted backwards but the pulpit rails slant forward. Is there an off the shelf solution for mounting a fairlead at the correct angle?
