Dept of CA
RAD,I contacted the Consumer Affairs dept a few weeks ago, and was told they only deal with licensed contractor issues on home improvement problems.I'm still waiting for the info/forms from the County on filing for a "property execution" where the Sheriff's duputies will show up at TCS's door with an order to pay up. If they don't, the deputies will go in and take an inventory of items for seizure. They will give them another week, show up again for payment, and if TCS doesn't pay up they will begin to seize items for auction. They told me they will take anything from office equipment, computers, inventory, to vehicles, etc. It's ANOTHER $200 to have it executed that way, but I'm prepared to pay up!At this point I don't know why McGovern hasn't simply posted on this thread that he's sorry, he'll pay up immediately, and promise to take care of all similar problems now or in the future in a prompt and reasonable manner. He has probably destroyed his own business because he seems to have a problem just admitting when he is wrong. I notified him in April I intended to do this if he forced me to file the small claim action. Then I actually waited until he was in default of the judgment before doing it!Tim
