Any input on the 3M sealant products ?

I'm looking to deal with a leak on my new Cat 25 , I think it's the pan /deck joint in the front of the anchor locker , considering using 3M 5200 .

What and how were you going access, then seal that -- before you discuss the 5200?

What is the nature of the leak?

The leak is coming from the centre of the bow . The cat 25 anchor locker is a pan attached to the deck there's a drain hole directly center , water seems to be to be coming in the area that allows the chain , so I was thinking of sealing where the pan attaches with the small " squeeze tube " as the locker is a tight spot I understand that polyurethane sealents cure with moisture .

No, more is not better.
Edit: what makes you feel that the climate there calls for 5200?
Torrential downpours the last few weeks , may have leaned towards overkill like you say . I'm headed out to the marina tomorrow and would like to try to deal with the problem , it will be a wet repair , I'll look into the 4200

C22BC,
3M 5200 is as much an adhesive as it is a sealant. It's so tenacious that it's sometimes called "the Devil's Glue". You don't want to use it on anything you might need to remove in the future.

Are you sealing a hole, seam, crack, or? If you are dismantling the attachment of the locker "pan" somehow, which I doubt, then your approach would be different.

5200 and 4200, for that matter, are semi adhesives. If you use either and it doesn't work, you'll regret having to get in there again.

Is the water draining into the cabin below or bilge from the pan? If the leak is from the anchor lid then, then filling up the pan?
Net
Isn't there a drain relieving the water through the side of the hull at the bow?

If the water is coming down the forestay, for example, then there are different approaches.

It's draining below and into the v- berth and and the locker below , about 2 cups a week , has been raining everyday

You can put a fitting in and conduct the water to the bilge or a drain hole through the hull?

Can you get to the area inside the cabin? Do you have a picture or pictures of the area and what's below?

Is that the low spot in the locker? Is that the only drain.?
I would forget 5200 or 4200 for this regardless.

There is retro upgrade repair ,because it is not the lowest spot , that involves drilling hole out bigger and lining with new tube , not sure that's source of leak .

The hole was there for a reason. If the leaks are from the cracks around it, then I'd fill those with epoxy.
In the meantime, I would get a small cork or stopper AMD plug the hole. Then I'd get some paper towels, tape them in place and see if you can see if it's the forestay, deck hull joint or whatever that is the source of the leak. If it only the hole, then I'd deal with as I suggested above.

I would not be using sealant to gunk that up.

If the hole isn't at the low spot, that's correctable. But under sail your bow may drop down and you may need the drain in a different location -- the low spot may move.

So the anchor locker drains to the bilge? Not a good idea. Drain it out through the hull, one high, one low. You have cracks and leaks in your locker fiberglass laminate. The fix is epoxy. Don't glop a bunch of 3M whatever on as a patch because it will compromise the eventual proper fix - epoxy.
