Thank you all for your help. Dave thank you for the offer to make the spacers but if your time is limited I could make them if you can send me some dimensions. Also, does anyone know where I could get the spacer that is mounted at the rear of the rudder that runs perpendicular to the tiller? Thanks again

Not sure if the store site has what he needs. Phil, can you advise on the shims.

Larry.... What exactly are the parts you are expecting from SBO store? Does it include the flat spacer plates? How much did they charge?

I'm looking at your picture and it looks like you have an extended Bimini, more than 6'. Are you able to sail with it up. I ask because my Bimini is extended. Haven't sailed since it was installed.

Yes I sail with it up. I adjusted it so that the boom clears it. The main sheet is attached at the second ring on the boom so it also passes in front of the Bimini. I'll check if I have a better pic.

I bought, received and installed the rudder spacer plates from the SBO store. They fit well and now my tiller can be lifted and stays at the position that I leave it.
