I just discovered after my boat was haul out a good size crack in the floor of Catalina 315.
It occurred on the fiberglass part in the aft cabin. On close inspection it seems that the tabs which attach the shell to the hull have come off in the area. The tabs seem to be only 2 inches wide...
So I spent the other day at a steady 30-45 degree angle with a big 155 and full main spread. Very fun and lost rudder effectiveness on a few occasions but this was the unwelcome result. Port side stay anchor on my Hunter 25.5.

I have noticed these cracks after inspection I did following heavy seas and pounding my keel once in 4 foot sea against a shallow sand bottom. I looked at earlier pictures before the "single bang" and they are there and appear to be non-propogating.
