new panel is just aft of starboard settee. I cut out the flat panel of fiberglass and made this up to mount all the fuses, ammeter, battery monitor, bilge pump switch and one cabin speaker... with room to grow, if needed. (boat lives under a green tarp during the winter, which is why everything is green)

the busses and terminals for the fwd berth, cabin, and galley all get their power from the 8ga yellow(they were out of red) on the right of the picture. The rest is 16ga red primary positive and red/yellow 16ga safety wire (there will never be an AC system on this boat, so should never run into issues.)
