1985 Hunter hull

Ok, hope you all know the answer this: I just ran a Hull ID search and what I was thinking was a 1987 Hunter Legend 37 came back as a 1985 hull. Any idea if this can still be a legend 37 or would it be a regular 37? I’m only considering acquiring this boat if it has a solid fiberglass hull and a walk thru transom. (Visual verification is not an option at this time)

First, what is the hull number which will give you the model boat, month and year when the hull was laid and model year of the boat. Then look under hunter resources for that boat under boat information. The keel is either a wing bulb keel or a fixed keel. What is the hull number which can be found underneath the starboard rub rail on the transom or under the starboard rear rub rail next to transom

According to the photo gallery, the 37.5 has a step on transom as does the 37, but much higher. Both have solid FRP hulls below the waterline, and neither were produced in1985. However, the 37-cutter was produced in 1985, a solid FRP hull below the waterline, but did not have a step/walk on transom. Are you wanting the hull number? It says it’s a 1985, but that’s the issue. From what I’ve found Hunter stopped making the 37 hull at the end of 84 and didn’t start making the Legend 37 until 1986.
