Ok this picture was taken by John, drinking his beer while his Sandel was being repaired with French Glue.
[ I had to translate with my Spanish :pimp:]

Anja is off swimming with a new friend.

And Dave is nursing a cold on the Musetta. :banghead:

John said do not lose your iPhone or Credit Card or Opps gone.

Also note all the Sailboats at Anchor in the background. John left the Musetta to enjoy his day ashore , after hitching a ride ashore.

It is not Dave in the red stripe shirt.

Mademoiselle Jenny guided the Legrandcourt Family for 102 years she lived through a lot of change. Suspect she was a very adaptive woman.

From John's on watch today....

"Up at 5:45 for 6AM watch.

Had a squall blow through about 0610 just after I went on watch. Sea state up to 2 m. Running on staysail and reefed main. Winds gusting above 25. Could not see the gauge for the driving rain.

It was cool."

PS: I had same issue and now wear a Scuba mask for driving rain.:pimp:

Well, Marine Traffic isn't showing their entire track to Portsmouth, Dominica. According to John, they'll be at anchor there for a couple of days.

Interesting. I had my AIS in the whole time and we are right along the coast. We anchored in the bay in front of Portsmouth on the side with the commercial port as that's where customs is located. There were many people waiting but it went fairly fast given the numbers of folk coming in. As i do not have a motorized dinghy, it only cost 15 Caribbean dollars there and another 15 for a mooring fee. I believe if I had a motor on my dinghy it would be more.

Folks here are really nice. Everyone pretty much has said hi. When I've stopped folks to ask questions they have all been really nice answering and going out of their way.

We met a guy that has a house here from Boston. He winters down here. Has a really amazing garden! He pointed us to a place for dinner, they actually only make lunch and we're closing a 5. We got there about 4:30. But they made us a nice dish and let us sit inside eating it until we were done while closing up the store. They also had really good ice cream!

We just got back to the boat and tomorrow morning will look for a better anchorage on the other side of the bay but we are good for tonight.

Tomorrow is Carnaval here! Look out!

I figured you'd stay pretty close to the coast all the way. MT still shows your position for 8.5 hrs ago. I re-searched for Musetta and got the same thing. Perhaps MT will do better tomorrow for me when you change anchorages.
