after 41 months full time cruising/living on boat our fav upgrades are:

-folding helm wheel
-Honda generator and soft start to air conditioning (much better than the 4kw generator I had that finally just died)
- small inverter wired to main DC panel for running TV and small things
- USB power strip wired to main DC panel located at the settee for phones and tablets
- touch LED lights in cabin
- electric fresh water head
- electric start outboard
- solar

Best improvment was installing Ac/Heat
So much better to sleep on those hot humid nights and also to take the chill out of the air on an October night.

I installed mine 8 years ago....its inline just before it gets to my impellar on my 4jh2e...cut the hose and insert it.....its cool because you can adjust it to any waterflow pressure you would like...its simple wireing and its never failed.....I am also very fond of my bildge counter....again simple wiring and it will help you detect a future issue.....I bought mine at West marine or defender Or I cant remember
