Yes I will ask about the trailer but I have the feeling the broker may not know. From the pics does it look factory?
After looking more closely at the pictures, I see now one of the guide posts. From that it looks like it is a factory trailer, but then again most trailers have guide posts. Are there other pictures? If not have the broker take more and send them to you. If you are going to pull it back yourself, be sure you know the condition of the tires, brakes, lights, etc.
The '94 H26 I bought still had the original tires believe it or not. They looked good, but of course I had to replace them. I did make it the 60 miles home with them, but before I trailered it anymore I completely rebuilt the trailer, spent around $1500 on it, but now it's pretty much like new, except for the wood bunks.
I know what you are going through. I was somewhat frustrated not able to find one for sale close by. Are you looking at all resources? In addition to Craig's List; BoatTrader, YachtWorld, Sailboatlistings, oodle, sailboatowners(this site), etc.
I know you said you know exactly what you want, but have you considered a H26? You may find one of those closer to home.
