Wooden sliding hatch door

I am about to embark on a ambitious endeavor on my old 1983 Newport Mk III 30' . First I want to make a companion way doors out of wood.
next i want to make a wooden sliding hatch.

Has anyone done this and does anyone have any plans?
and any advice?

Do an internet search on "builing sailboat comapnionway doors" and find videos on how to fabricate them like these :(17) Companionway Door Build - YouTube and (17) DIY Cafe Doors for Sailboat - YouTube. Do the same for sliding hatch.

I’d use Blum hinges for the doors. Highly adjustable and easily removable. There are a ton of mounting options and movement options
