Beneteau Oceanis 361 Clipper --
If you wanna do some reading have a look at the attached files. In general though the Beneteau 361 is quite easy to balance with the sails thus avoid fighting with the rudder. Keep in mind that it's a boat that has quite a lot of canvas and yes, even that furling main sail, has a lot of power. I have owned my boat since 2007 and until 2-3 year I used to reef mainly the genoa thinking "what power could this in mast furling main has". I was wrong, it's quite powerful (I am sure you have noticed how long the boom is). Now I am careful to trim the main sail better (release main sheet, move traveller, then reef) and the boat sails much better always with a sweet and light helm.

I have also found this to be true for my 331, which comes from the same era as the 361. If I get both sails reefed correctly (and I admit I don't always) the helm can feel great, and boat speed improves, in any winds I'm willing to go out in.

Yes it is when I am on shore power
If a breaker is tripping with just a heater on its 900 watt setting then it sounds like there is something either faulty with the breaker or a poor connection somewhere before the breaker causing a voltage drop. If you have a volt meter try plugging it into an outlet when you're first starting the heater to see if the voltage reads low when you're loading the circuit.

It only drops 5-7 volt. When I put my build in heater from low to high power then it stops working. It will work again after cooling off. Strange.

The water came in around the winch. Tried to seal it from inside. If that does not work, then I will take it of and make a proper sealing.
