I have a VHF radio mounted rear of the compression post on the headliner. The previous owner cut a 3" hole in the headliner and connected the radio to the light near the compression post along with running the coaxial cable through the deck near the mast. My question is how do you remove the lights so I can get to the connect he made and change a bad bulb? Also has anyone fished a wire from the electrical panel through the headliner to near the compression post? I removed the winch inspection cover and it seems to be a fairly straight shot to the front, just geting around the light is a pain though. I have a ST 40 coming and want to put a pull string in to get the wire back to the head unit. I would also like to put the VHF radio on its own switch and fuse and maybe some speakers for the radio under the counter. I tried to fish a wire up through the space but I keep getting caught on something. There is a half inch blue tube up near the light that some wires go through but it didn't feel like it goes very far maybe six inches. Any hints on how to accomplish this.CarlS/V Wind Shadow
